STEM
Benefits of STEM education:
Critical Thinking: Developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
Collaboration: Working in teams to complete projects and solve problems.
Creativity: Encouraging innovative thinking and design.
Preparation for Future Careers: Building skills that are essential in many modern careers
Coding Classes for Grade 1-12.
Math Classes for Grade 1-12.
Science Classes for Grade 1-12.
GROWTH MINDSET
Embracing Challenges: Instead of avoiding difficult tasks, students will learn to see them as opportunities to learn and grow. For example, tackling a tough math problem even if it seems daunting at first.
Learning from Mistakes: Viewing mistakes as a natural part of the learning process. If students get a question wrong, they analyze what went wrong and how they can improve next time.
Persistence: Continuing to work on a task even when it gets tough. For instance, practicing a musical instrument regularly, even when progress seems slow.
Seeking Feedback: Actively looking for feedback to improve. Asking a teacher or peer for constructive criticism on an essay to make it better.
Celebrating Effort: Recognizing and valuing the effort students put into their work, not just the outcome. Praising themself for studying hard for a test, regardless of the grade they receive.
Adapting Strategies: If one approach doesn’t work, trying a different method. For example, if students are struggling to understand a concept, they might try watching a video, reading a book, or discussing it with a friend.
Positive Self-Talk: Encouraging themself with positive affirmations. Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” they will learn to say, “I can’t do this yet, but I’m working on it.”
